Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for new business development of workforce development solutions to healthcare systems and organizations with a target revenue of $3M, a minimum revenue of $1M and additional revenue impact via broader team selling.
  • Lead and drive solutions for large complex service engagements, with a focus on areas such as transition to practice programs, clinical fellowships and ongoing skills development.
  • Build and maintain executive level relationships with the client team as a trusted advisor
  • Assist with meeting goal of 100% client satisfaction
  • Successfully delivers overview presentations on all OpusVi programs and solutions.
  • Ensure appropriate quality processes are in place and followed while acting as an escalation point for issues that arise from workstreams
  • Ensure development of project outcome measurements and communication plans. Ensure development of analytic and measurement strategy for all projects undertaken including the development of key metrics, identification of data sources and collection of baseline data
  • Conduct quarterly account reviews to identify client satisfaction, process adherence, backlogs, quality of services provided, opportunities for improvement, etc.
  • Be a trusted advisor to customer’s business group regarding all aspects of optimal utilization.
  • Review contracts for special terms. Monitor time expended, billings, renewals, profitability
  • Serve as a partner in the RFP response process and/or SOW development with all relevant internal stakeholders
  • Utilize Salesforce as the customer relationship management system
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and success in professional consulting and or staffing roles in healthcare, helping companies define and evaluate business unit strategies, growth, market analysis, and competitive drivers

 

Minimum Qualifications and Experience 

(Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required)

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 8+ years of proven experience in the business of healthcare and healthcare sales, with a preference towards workforce development solutions.
  • Experience in and the selling of workforce development solutions preferred
  • Success in selling into the VHA
  • Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape
  • Management/supervisory experience of professional level positions is required
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and organization skills
  • Ability to proactively work independently to meet job skills and expectations
  • Ability to travel to match client and firm needs up to 100%
  • Must possess proven contract negotiation knowledge and skills
  • Strong research, writing and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively distill and present complex information in a concise way
  • Excellent use of MSOffice tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong work ethic with an eye toward creative and innovative approaches to meet client needs
  • Proven ability to define objectives clearly, gather accurate data, generate numerous alternatives, think logically, and choose and act decisively
