The Client - Phoenix Children's

Phoenix Children’s is one of the nation’s largest pediatric health systems. The enterprise includes pediatric specialty and urgent care centers, community-based pediatric practices, outpatient clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and community-service-related outpatient clinics throughout Arizona. Phoenix Children’s has more than 6,700 employees, including at least 1,175 pediatric primary care providers and specialists who deliver care across more than 75 subspecialties.

The Challenge

Phoenix Children’s identified a financial skills gap among their leadership team. They sought to develop a learning solution for 400 of their leadership team members that focused on strengthening their financial acumen and providing them with a thorough grasp of a variety of financial topics, including balance sheets, statements of income, cash flow, quadruple aim, and KPIs.

The Solution

OpusVi provided a semi-custom learning solution for Phoenix’s Children using the module “Managing the Finances” which was developed in collaboration with Duke Corporate Education, one of the premier education providers.
