Our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Programs are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to pass the certification exam in their states. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead and enhance our CNA Training Program.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join us as the Director of the Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program. This role is crucial for the overall administration, management, and success of the CNA training program. This includes working with our product team to develop curriculum, site engagement, faculty support, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The Director will ensure that the program meets the highest standards of educational excellence and effectively prepares students for certification and employment as CNAs. The CNA Director will also work closely with the Director of the Nurse Residency program and have a deep understanding of regulations and policies relevant to nursing education and training. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the CNA Training Program, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide input and guidance for curriculum development, and update the CNA curriculum to meet current industry standards and requirements.
  • Implement strategies for effective student support and retention.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure student internships and job placements.
  • Ensure the program meets accreditation standards and prepares students for certification exams.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
  • Promote the program to potential stakeholders through product demonstrations, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with Instructional Design and Technical Administration teams to customize and implement the platform for each client.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for product growth and expansion.
  • Analyze and stay up-to-date with evidence-based research on our product, competitor’s products, and the broader healthcare industry.
  • Work with the academic team to help define training strategies for the nurse workforce.
  • Disseminate OpusVi portfolio via presentation and publications..

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree with significant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing or healthcare education, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role, and at least one year in a LTC facility.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Experience with budget management and regulatory compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of CNA training requirements, curriculum development, and instructional methods.
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a CNA program director or coordinator.
  • Experience with online and hybrid learning environments.
